The following is a job description for the role of Structural Engineer at SkyCiv Pty Ltd.

Purpose: To test, verify, improve and assist the development of SkyCiv structural analysis and design software, under the core product values of SkyCiv.
n
n
Main Goals: Verifi cation of software, assisting in structural engineering advice and using structural design experience to assist users through customer support..
n
n
Reporting to: Development Team, CEO, CTO
n
n
Responsibilities:
n Technical Support & Customer Assistance
n
n
n
n
- Provide expert guidance to users on structural analysis and design using SkyCiv software.
n
n
- Assist clients in troubleshooting technical issues and optimizing their workfl ow.
n
n
- Educate users on best practices and industry standards for structural engineering.
n
n
- Providing assistance to the development team for general structural engineering questions
n
n
n
n
Software Testing & Quality Assurance
n
n
n
n
- Conduct rigorous testing of SkyCiv software to ensure accuracy and reliability.
n
n
- Identify and report bugs, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
n
n
- Collaborate with the development team to enhance software performance.
n
n
n
n
Product Development & Innovation
n
n
n
n
- Contribute engineering expertise to the development of new features and tools.
n
n
- Provide insights into industry trends and customer needs to drive innovation.
n
n
- Validate software calculations and ensure compliance with global engineering codes.Content Creation & Knowledge Sharing
n
n
- Develop educational materials, tutorials, and documentation for users.
n
n
- Write technical articles and case studies to showcase the software’s capabilities.
n
n
- Conduct webinars and training sessions to engage and educate clients.
n
n
n
n
Client Engagement & Business Growth
n
n
n
n
- Support sales and marketing teams by demonstrating software capabilities to potential clients.
n
n
- Gather feedback from users to improve the product and enhance customer satisfaction.
n
n
- Assist in developing tailored solutions for enterprise clients and large-scale projects.
n
n
n
n
OTHER REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor or higher in either Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering
n
n
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team workplace
