This is a full-time, office-based role ideal for an engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, technically demanding environment and values precision, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

nAbout You n
n

You’re a degree-qualified mechanical engineer with at least 5 years of experience in mechanical design and project delivery within industrial or heavy engineering environments. You have strong technical proficiency in CAD and FEA tools, a solid understanding of Australian Standards, and the ability to work independently while contributing to multidisciplinary teams.

nWhat You’ll Bring n

- 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an Australian University OR Professional membership of Engineers Australia (MIEAust).
n
n
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in mechanical engineering design and project work.
n
n
- CPEng desirable but not essential
n
n
- Bulk materials handling equipment design experience or discrete element modelling (DEM) is desirable
n
n
- Strong understanding of fabrication, manufacturing and construction processes, preferably with workshop and/or site experience.
n
n




- Proficiency in CAD tools (Inventor, SolidWorks) and engineering analysis software (e.g., Strand7 or ANSYS).
n
n
- Strong understanding of Australian Standards for mechanical engineering, design verification, and safety compliance.
n
n
- Ability to produce accurate 3D models, drawings, and technical documentation for fabrication and construction.
n
n
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
n
n
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
n

- Support design validation, analysis, and review processes.

- Contribute to planning, scheduling, and execution of project tasks to meet milestones.
