We are looking for a friendly, customer -focused Store Manager for a startup jewellery brand focused on modern, affordable designs for everyday wear.
n
As a new retail venture, we are building our presence from the ground up and are looking for someone who thrives in a startup environment—hands -on, proactive, and ready to take ownership.

As a Startup Retail Jewellery Store Manager, you will be responsible for running the store end -to -end—from sales and customer experience to operations, staffing, and execution.
n
n
You will play a key role in building the store, driving revenue, and shaping the customer experience from day one.
n
Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Ownership
n n
n
- Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
n
n
- Actively sell on the floor—this is a highly hands -on sales role
n
n
- Upsell and cross -sell jewellery to maximise basket size
n
n
- Track KPIs such as conversion rate, ATV, and footfall
n Store Setup & Execution (Startup Setting)
n n n
- Support store launch activities including setup, merchandising, and display execution
n
n
- Ensure the store is always visually appealing and customer -ready
n
n
- Take ownership of fixing day -to -day issues without escalation
n Customer Experience
n n n
- Deliver a warm, engaging, and personalised shopping experience
n
n
- Build repeat customers and local community engagement
n
n
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and after -sales service
n Team Management (Lean Team)
n n n
- Recruit, train, and manage a small team of sales associates
n
n
- Prepare rosters aligned with peak shopping centre hours
n
n
- Lead by example—sell alongside the team
n
n
- Motivate team members to achieve targets
n Operations & POS
n n n
- Manage billing, POS transactions, refunds, and cash handling
n
n
- Oversee opening and closing procedures
n
n
- Maintain daily sales and performance reports
n Inventory & Stock Control
n n n
- Manage stock levels, replenishment, and stock takes
n
n
- Ensure accurate tagging, pricing, and display of jewellery
n
n
- Minimise stock loss and shrinkage
n Security & Compliance
n n n
- Ensure safe handling of high -value jewellery items
n
n
- Follow mall and company policies
n
n
- Maintain store security and loss prevention practices
n Key Requirements
n n n
- 2–5 years experience in retail, preferably in jewellery or fashion
n
n
- Proven sales ability (must be comfortable actively selling)
n
n
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently
n
n
- Excellent communication and customer engagement skills
n
n
- Experience with POS systems and retail operations
n
n
- Ability to work weekends, late hours, and public holidays
n
n
