The Opportunity n

We are currently seeking an experienced Resident Field Service Fitter to join our team, based in the Bendigo region , servicing customers across Northern Victoria through to the Victorian border, with full support from our Somerton branch.

In this autonomous, customer-focused role, you'll take ownership of your region, delivering high-quality service while building lasting relationships with customers across a diverse range of industries. Reporting to the Service Supervisor, you'll enjoy independence in your day-to-day work, backed by a supportive and experienced team.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Diagnose, service and repair Hitachi construction and earthmoving equipment in the field
n
- Manage your daily workflow, job scheduling and customer communication
n
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across your regional territory
n
- Complete and submit service reports and documentation in a timely manner
n
- Ensure all work is completed in line with Hitachi's safety and quality standards
n
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction
n

About You nn
- Relevant trade qualification (Mobile Plant / Heavy Diesel Mechanic or equivalent)
n
- Proven experience in field service within the construction, earthmoving or heavy equipment industries preferred
n
- Strong diagnostic and technical skills
n
- Ability to work autonomously with excellent time management
n
- A customer-first mindset with strong communication skills
n




- Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
n
- OEM experience highly regarded but not essential
n
