Pacific Harbour Golf & Country Club is looking for a Full Time Commis Chef. At Pacific Harbour Golf & Country Club, we take pride in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our patrons. With a energetic menu and a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients, our kitchen is an important part of our club's overall services — and we're looking for a talented Chef to jooin the team.

Key responsibilities n

n
- Assist the Sous Chef / Head Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen
n
- Prepare, cook and present high quality dishes
n
- Prepare and store food ensuring stock rotation and control is maintained
n
- Ensure overall cleanliness and presentation of the kitchen
n
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and workplace health and safety practices
n
- Care and maintenance of kitchen and equipment
n
- Monitor portion and waste control
n
- Train and/or supervise other kitchen staff
n
- Assist Sous Chef / Head Chef with menu planning, weekly tasks,



stocktake and maintaining department budget, where required
n

About you nn
- 2 years' experience in a high-volume establishment as a Chef
n
- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
n
- Working knowledge of food safety and WH&S; principles
n
- Be a reliable team member and have great attention to detail
n
- Must be available to work a flexible 7 day roster, including Friday and Saturday night dining
n
