About the Rolen

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our technology team based in the office (in office) in Wollongong. This is a hands-on role focused on the development, enhancement and maintenance of our software applications across web and mobile platforms.

The role will have a particular focus on Angular web development and Android application development, while also contributing to broader software development, system integration and technical improvement across the business.

n

You will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, develop practical technical solutions and support the ongoing improvement of our software systems.

What You’ll Be Doingn

n
- Design, develop, test and maintain software applications and systems.
n
- Develop and enhance web applications using Angular and TypeScript.
n
- Develop, maintain and improve Android applications.
n
- Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into software solutions.
n
- Design and implement new features, functionality and system enhancements.
n
- Write clean, efficient and maintainable code.
n
- Integrate applications with APIs, databases and other systems.
n
- Identify and resolve software defects, technical issues and performance problems.
n
- Conduct testing and debugging to ensure software quality and reliability.
n
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements and design through to development, testing, deployment and maintenance.
n
- Maintain technical documentation and development records.
n
- Review existing systems and identify opportunities for improvement.
n
- Assist with software deployment, implementation and ongoing technical support.
n
- Work collaboratively with other team members and internal stakeholders to deliver software solutions.

About Youn





To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Based in Wollongong or relocating soon
n
- A relevant qualification in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
n
- Demonstrated professional experience in software development.
n
- Experience with Angular and TypeScript.
n
- Experience with Android application development.
n
- Strong understanding of software development principles and practices.
n
- Experience working with APIs, databases and software integrations.
n
- Experience with version control and software development tools.
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
n
- The ability to troubleshoot technical issues and develop practical solutions.
n
- An understanding of software testing and quality assurance.
n
- The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
n
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
n

Experience with any of the following will be highly regarded:
