About the role n

Join the dynamic team of Connect to Nursing Agency as an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) based in Toowoomba, QLD. As an AIN, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, high-quality aged care services to our residents. This is a full-time or casual position, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older Australians.

What you'll be doing n

n
- Assist registered nurses and other care staff in delivering personalised and holistic care to aged care residents
n
- Provide personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support
n
- Monitor and record residents' health and wellbeing, reporting any changes to the nursing team
n
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
n
- Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote their physical and emotional wellbeing
n
- Assist with the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring residents' dietary needs are met
n

What we're looking for nn
- Completed Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent qualification
n
- Previous experience as an Assistant in Nursing or similar role in an aged care setting
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and their families
n
- Compassionate, empathetic,



and patient-centred approach to care
n
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment
n
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
n
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
n
