Bakers Delight Eastgardens is seeking motivated, enthusiastic and energetic Qualified Baker to join the Bakery.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Preparation and production of quality bakery products to Bakers Delight. Training will be provided for BDH recipe.
n
- Inspect equipment and premises before production to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
n
- Evaluate raw materials and weigh ingredients to maintain quality standards.
n
- Mix, knead, mature, cut, mould, and shape dough and pastry goods.
n
- Prepare pastry fillings for various baked products.
n
- Operate machines for rolling, moulding dough, and cutting biscuits.
n




- Monitor oven temperatures and product appearance to determine optimal baking times.
n
- Coordinate the forming, baking, cooling, and de-panning of bread, rolls, and pastry batches.
n
- Glaze buns and pastries and decorate cakes with icing or cream.
n
- Clean, grease, and empty baking trays, tins, and equipment after use.
n
- Train, develop and supervise apprentices and staff in the Bakery Department.

- Ability to be available for work across the 7 days of the week, which may include evening work and some public holidays (starting times can be as early as 2am)

- Abide by company policies and procedures at all times.

Applicants with Minimum of 1 year experience or Certificate III in Baking, as a Baker will have advantage for this role.
