We are a well-established and growing air conditioning business servicing residential customers across the Gold Coast and surrounding areas. We are looking for an experienced Residential Air-conditioning Manager to join our team and take ownership of our residential operations, quoting and customer experience.

n

This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone who understands the residential HVAC industry, has strong estimating and sales skills, and enjoys building relationships with customers and tradespeople.

The Role n

As the Residential Air-conditioning Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing residential projects from the initial customer enquiry through to quoting, scheduling and completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

n

- Conducting residential site visits and preparing accurate quotes and estimates
n
- Assessing customer requirements and recommending appropriate air conditioning solutions
n
- Managing residential jobs from quote acceptance through to completion
n
- Coordinating technicians, apprentices and subcontractors where required
n
- Maintaining strong communication with customers throughout each project
n
- Following up quotes and converting opportunities into confirmed work
n
- Ensuring projects are completed efficiently, professionally and profitably
n
- Managing job schedules and helping coordinate day-to-day residential operations
n
- Identifying opportunities for additional works and upgrades
n




- Ensuring high standards of workmanship, presentation and customer service
n
- Monitoring project costs, margins and overall job performance
n
- Resolving customer issues and ensuring a positive customer experience
n
- Working closely with management to improve processes and performance
n

About You n

We are looking for someone who has:

n

n
- Previous experience in the air conditioning/HVAC industry
n
- Strong knowledge of residential air conditioning systems and installations
n
- Proven experience in estimating, quoting or residential project management
n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
- Strong organisational and time‑management abilities
n
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of job costing and margins
n
- The confidence to conduct customer consultations and recommend solutions
n
- The ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities simultaneously
n
- A professional presentation and a positive, solutions‑focused attitude
n
- A current Australian manual driver's licence
n

n

An air conditioning trade qualification, estimating experience or previous supervisory/management experience will be highly regarded.
