We’re looking for an experienced Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our friendly team at The Northside Dentist in Thornbury.

This is a part-time position working four days a week, Monday to Thursday, ideal for someone who enjoys a varied role combining clinical assisting and reception administration.

Key responsibilities n

- Getting treatment rooms ready and making sure instruments are sterilised
n
- Assisting our dentists during procedures with instruments and materials
n
- Keeping treatment rooms stocked and organised
n




- Helping manage appointment scheduling and patient flow
n
- Answering patient questions and providing great service
n
- Keeping clear and accurate patient records
n
- Pitching in with admin tasks as needed
n

About you nn
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a dental practice
n
- Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
n
- Attention to detail with a sense of urgency, and the ability to stay on top of things in a busy setting
n
- Comfortable using dental software and tech
n
- A genuine interest in helping people and supporting patient care
n
- A dental assisting qualification is a bonus, but not essential
n
