We are looking to recruit a Payroll Officer to join our Payroll team, based in Melbourne. This is a fixed term contract for 5 months.

n

Reporting to the Head of Payroll, your primary responsibilities will include:

n

- Assist with the end-to-end processing of monthly payroll including commission payments and other variable earnings.
n
- Review monthly attendance records, manage leave requests and timesheets, ensuring they are processed accurately and efficiently.
n
- Assist with onboarding of current employees.
n
- Responding to payroll queries in a timely and professional manner.
n
- Assist with month end reporting including Tax, Leave and Superannuation.
n




- Perform other administrative duties as required by the Payroll/HR Team.
n
- Ensure that all Payroll/HR information is handled with strict confidentiality and in a secure environment.
n

Required Experience:

n

- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills with strong numeracy capability.
n
- High attention to detail with a thorough and accurate approach.
n
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
n
- Committed, reliable and highly organised.
n
- Task focused.
n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
n
- Knowledge of Australian payroll processes is desirable.
n

This is a faced paced hands-on role, providing an excellent opportunity for someone to join a market leading financial services firm and to work within a supportive team environment. Training provided and immediate start is available.
