Protech is one of Australia's largest recruitment and labour hire providers, servicing clients across Traffic, Civil, Construction, Mining, Maintenance and Warehousing. With a growing traffic management division and a strong pipeline of work across Victoria, we're looking for an experienced Traffic Management Designer to join our North Melbourne team.

The Role

n

n
- Prepare Traffic Management Plans (TMP's) and Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS's).
n
- Develop compliant traffic management plans using RapidPlan.
n
- Submission of DTP and Council Permits.
n
- Conduct site assessments and risk reviews to support safe project delivery.
n
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, councils, road authorities and internal stakeholders.
n
- Liaise with stakeholders to obtain permits, approvals and project requirements.
n
- Work closely with operations teams, supervisors and traffic controllers to ensure plans are practical and effective in the field.
n
- Provide technical advice and support to internal and external stakeholders.
n
- Identify opportunities to improve safety, compliance and operational efficiency.
n

What You Will Bring

n

n
- Experience in a Traffic Management Designer role or similar traffic planning position.
n
- Holds valid TMD Category 1, 2 and 3 qualifications.
n
- Strong knowledge of traffic management regulations, compliance requirements and industry best practice.
n




- Experience preparing TMP's and TGS's across a range of projects.
n
- Proficiency using RapidPlan.
n
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
n
- Solid communication and stakeholder management skills.
n
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
n
- Experience within the traffic management, civil construction, infrastructure or maintenance industries.
n
- Cert IV WHS (desirable - not essential).
n
