IdealCorp is seeking a Civil Engineering Technician / Laboratory Technician to join the team. This full‑time, permanent position involves a combination of laboratory testing, field work and technical support within the construction environment.
Key responsibilities n
Conduct field and laboratory testing in accordance with Australian Standards and project specifications
n
Collect, prepare and test samples and maintain accurate testing records
n
Analyse and interpret test results
n
Perform site sampling, inspections and field testing
n
Operate, calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and testing instruments
n
Prepare test reports, technical summaries and compliance documentation
n
Support quality assurance, technical investigations and R&D; activities
About you n
Diploma or higher qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field
n
Minimum 1–2 years of relevant Australian employment
n
Experience in concrete, construction materials or laboratory testing is highly regarded
n
Solid attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate technical records
