Job Description

H Flowers is looking for a talented, reliable and customer-focused Florist to join our team at our Box Hill store.

We’re looking for someone who loves flowers, takes pride in their work and understands that being a great florist is about more than simply making beautiful arrangements.

n

This is not an entry-level florist position. Previous practical flower shop/floristry experience is required with at least 1 year experience.

YOUR DAY MAY INCLUDE n

n
- Creating bouquets, flower boxes and floral arrangements
n
- Preparing orders and custom orders
n
- Serving customers and helping them choose the right flowers
n
- Wrapping and presenting flowers beautifully
n
- Merchandising and maintaining the store throughout the day
n
- Conditioning, preparing and caring for fresh flowers
n
- Keeping the workspace clean, organised and presentation-ready
n




- Supporting the team during busy periods such as Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day
n

ABOUT YOU n

Previous hands-on florist experience is essential .

n

You should be:

- Confident making bouquets and arrangements independently
n
- Creative, with a robust eye for colour, balance and presentation
n
- Comfortable following a floral brief while adapting to the flowers available
n
- Friendly and confident with customers
n
- Efficient and calm when the store gets busy
n
- Organised and attentive to detail
n
- Reliable and punctual
n
- Comfortable working independently when required
n
- Someone who naturally notices when something needs cleaning, restocking or improving — and takes care of it
n

Language: English and Mandarin preferred
