We are currently seeking experienced Sewing Machinists to join our client's manufacturing team based in Campbellfield, Melbourne.
About Our Client n
Our client is an established large-format digital printing and visual communications manufacturer, specialising in producing high-quality printed and display products for commercial clients across Australia.
n
Their capabilities include large-format printing up to 5 metres wide, producing products such as banners, flags, exhibition graphics and other promotional displays. They also manufacture custom fabric display systems, lightboxes and rigid printed panels for a variety of commercial applications.
About the Role n
As an Industrial Sewing Machinist, you will play an important role in the production of fabric-based printed products and display solutions.
Your responsibilities will include: n
n
- Operating twin needle sewing machines
n
- Sewing and finishing large-format printed fabric materials
n
- Producing flags, banners and other fabric-based display products
n
- Following production specifications and quality requirements
n
- Inspecting finished products to ensure a high standard of workmanship
n
- Working efficiently to meet production deadlines
n
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment
n
About You nn
- Previous experience as an Industrial Sewing Machinist
n
- Proven experience operating a twin needle sewing machine - essential
n
- Experience working with large-format fabrics, banners, flags, textiles or display products will be highly regarded
n
- Experience in a similar printing, signage, textile or display manufacturing environment is preferred
n
- Excellent attention to detail and quality
n
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
n
- Good hand-eye coordination and sewing skills
n
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
n
- Ability to work Monday to Friday on morning shifts
n
