Veterinary Nurse | Part Time | 6 Month Maternity Leave Cover n

We’re looking for a kind, capable veterinary nurse with at least 2 years’ experience to join our team for a 6 month maternity leave cover.

Daisy Hill Vet is a family owned small animal clinic with a close, experienced team and a varied caseload. We care about doing a good job for our patients, building relationships with their families and supporting each other through busy days.

nAbout the role n
n

You’ll be involved in the varied day to day responsibilities of veterinary nursing, including:

n
n

n
n
- Caring for hospital patients and supporting their recovery
n
n
- Assisting with consultations, diagnostics and treatments
n
n
- Surgical nursing and anaesthetic monitoring when required
n
n
- Supporting clients with clear, compassionate advice
n
n
- Preparing patients, equipment and treatment areas
n
n
- Maintaining high standards of patient care, hygiene and clinic organisation
n
n
- Reception duties and helping with the daily running of the clinic
n
n

n

Our caseload includes general practice, dentistry,



orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, and laparoscopic procedures, offering plenty of variety for a nurse who enjoys being hands on and adaptable.

We’re looking for someone with:

- At least 2 years’ experience in veterinary nursing
n
n
- Confidence across the varied roles and responsibilities of veterinary nursing
n
n
- A calm, caring approach to patients and their families
n
n
- Good communication skills and a willingness to help your teammates
n
n
- The ability to stay organised, use initiative and adapt during a busy day
n
n
- A genuine interest in contributing to all areas of clinic life
n
n
