n We're looking for experienced and reliable Forklift Operators to join a busy airfreight operation in Melbourne. This is a hands-on role where you'll be working with international freight and aircraft units, helping keep cargo moving safely and efficiently.

n About the Role As a Forklift Operator, you'll play an important role in the safe and efficient movement of airfreight throughout the terminal.
n Your day-to-day duties will include:
n

- Operating a forklift to unload and move aircraft units
n
- Loading and unloading freight from trucks
n
- Manually handling freight when required
n
- Removing cargo nets and shrink-wrap from pallets
n
- Moving and positioning airfreight safely throughout the terminal
n
- Operating hoists to safely manoeuvre aircraft units
n
- Assisting with general airfreight terminal and warehouse duties
n
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures
n
- Working as part of a team to ensure freight is processed efficiently and on time
n
Rosters & Pay nn
- $34.95 per hour + applicable penalties
n
- Full rotational roster - morning, afternoon and night shifts
n
- Monday to Sunday availability may be required
n
- Full availability across the rotational roster is essential
n
What We’re Looking For nn
- Current Forklift Licence
n
- Previous forklift operating experience
n
- Freight, warehouse or logistics experience highly regarded
n
- Experience with loading and unloading freight
n
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
n
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
n
- Reliable and punctual
n
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
n
- Fully available to work a rotational roster - essential
n
- Able to pass a National Criminal History Check
n
- Able to pass Drug & Alcohol testing
n
- Willingness to obtain an ASIC
n
