Head of Medical & Pharmacovigilance | Australia

I'm partnering with a growing specialty medicine organisation to appoint a Head of Medical & Pharmacovigilance for Australia.

n

This is a newly created leadership role with a genuine opportunity to build, shape and influence the future Medical function as the business enters its next phase of growth.

n

With a number of upcoming launches on the horizon, they're looking for a senior Medical Affairs leader who enjoys creating and developing capability rather than simply inheriting an established structure.

n

You'll have broad scope and visibility across the Australian business, combining strategic leadership with a hands-on approach. You'll work closely with commercial, regulatory and senior leadership teams, while remaining the independent medical voice and having the confidence to challenge when required.

A big part of the opportunity will be shaping how the function evolves,



from team structure and capability through to medical strategy, governance and launch readiness.

We're looking for someone with:

- Strong Medical Affairs leadership experience within specialty medicine
n
- Demonstrated product launch experience
n
- Proven people leadership and team development capability
n
- Strong knowledge of medical governance, compliance and scientific standards
n
- The ability to partner effectively with commercial teams while maintaining medical independence
n
- A pragmatic, hands-on leadership style suited to a smaller, growing organisation
n

This will suit someone who wants more than a traditional Head of Medical role.
