Employment status: Casual with a view to permanent part-time for suitable candidates.

Duties and responsibilities: n

n
- Domestic assistance: assist with domestic cleaning, meal preparation, laundry etc
n
- Social support: assist with transportation for appointments, shopping and outings
n
- Personal care: assist with showering,



toileting, transferring, incontinence care, feeding and assist with mobility and physical exercise etc.
n
- Medication prompting and supervision
n
- Companionship and dementia care
n
- Sleep over shifts and 24 hour care, as required
n

Selection criteria: n

The successful candidates should possess but not limited to the following:

n

n
- Certificate III in Aged Care / Certificate IV in Home and Community Care or equivalent, or working towards it
n
- Current driver’s license, good driving record, own vehicle and full insurance (essential)
n
- Current First Aid Certificate, or working towards it
n
- Police Check conducted within the last 3 months
n
- Immediate start
n
- Flexible working hours, preferable to parents with school drop off and pick ups
n
- Paid mileage
n
- Working in your community
n
- Professional development and potential opportunities to become a Care Coordinator or Case Manager
