Shopping Centre Security Supervisor - Darwin, NT n

As a Senior Security Supervisor at our retail location in Casuarina, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our customers and staff. This permanent, full-time position is essential for maintaining a secure shopping workplace, implementing security protocols, and leading a team of security personnel. Your expertise will contribute to the overall success of our operations and enhance the shopping experience for our clientele.

Responsibilities: n

Oversee daily security operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Lead and manage a team of security staff, providing training and support as needed.

n

Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities.

n

Respond to incidents and emergencies, coordinating with local law enforcement when necessary.

n

Monitor surveillance systems and maintain accurate records of security activities.

n





Develop and implement security strategies to mitigate risks and enhance safety.

n

Engage with customers and staff to promote a culture of safety and security.

n

communicate clearly and effectively with centre management as required

Qualifications: n

High school diploma or equivalent; further education in security management is an advantage.

n

Past supervisory experience in security or a related field is preferred.

n

Strong leadership and team management skills.

n

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

n

Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure.

n

Familiarity with security systems and technology.

n

High level of computer literacy

n

Valid security licence as required by local regulations including CPT and working with Children.
