About the Opportunity n

We’re seeking an experienced Shutdown Supervisor to join our growing Queensland team in Mackay. This permanent, full-time role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes pride in delivering high-quality work while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Lead shutdown crews with a hands‑on approach
n
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to build strong working relationships
n
- Scope pre‑shutdown works to ensure safe and timely execution
n
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company KPIs
n
- Provide tools, resources, and guidance to ensure successful project delivery
n
- Complete post‑shutdown reporting, including timesheets and project close‑out
n





Qualifications & Experience nn
- Mechanical trade qualification
n
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in mining or shutdown environments
n
- Proven experience with bulk material handling equipment (e.g. crushers, feeders, scrubbers, belt filters, pumps)
n
- At least 2 years in a supervisory role
n
- Solid communication and leadership skills
n
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook); Microsoft Project exposure desirable
n
- Current certifications:n n
- Mining Supervisor G189 & Risk Facilitator G2
n
- CBM (Coal Board Medical)
n
- Standard 11
n
- Confined Space
n
- Gas Test Atmospheres
n
- Working at Heights
n
