This is a hands‑on associate role working directly on live deals to learn the full mortgage process from start to finish under an owner who is a strong teacher. With the right attitude and effort, you can be writing your own deals as a mortgage broker within six months.

Key responsibilities n

- Credit analysis of client files
n
- Servicing calculations
n
- Review of financials, income, and supporting documents
n
- Preparing files for submission to lenders
n
- Pushing applications through to approval
n
- Chasing settlements and clearing conditions
n
- Post-settlement management and client follow‑up
n
- Supporting the broker on live transactions so you learn how a deal is actually won and closed
n

About you nn
- Someone who wants to be developed into a broker, not just fill a support seat
n




- Solid attention to detail and comfort with numbers
n
- Clear communication and the drive to follow a file until it settles
n
- A willingness to learn quickly and take ownership of tasks
n
- Prior finance, banking, or client‑facing experience is useful but not required if the attitude is right
n
- Direct training from the owner across the full deal cycle
n
- A clear path from associate work to writing your own loans
n
- KPIs tied to commission, plus referral incentives built into the role
n
- Scope to grow into future roles as the business expands
