Gas Hound is the new local for Newstead—a social Australian Bistro that strikes the perfect balance between an elevated gastropub experience and a high-energy sports focus. They are currently looking for hardworking and dedicated Chef to join their team.

Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities: n

- Skills in preparing different variety of cuisine.
n
- Creativity and high presentation standards.
n
- Ability to create dishes with consistency.
n
- Ability to advise on cooking procedures.
n
- Skilled in preparing, seasoning, and cooking food according to recipes.
n
- Ability to contribute to menu planning.
n
- Understanding of food safety and OHS requirements.
n
- Train and manage cooks and kitchen staff.
n
- Achieving all safety, hygiene, and food quality
n
- Should be able to manage daily kitchen operations including ordering.

To be considered for the position you must possess the following: nn
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role

- Relevant qualifications

- Ability to excel in a high-volume, high-pressure setting.
