- Multiple locations across metropolitan and suburban Melbourne
n
- Opportunities to work with a range of established builders and contractors
n

The Role: n
n

n
- General site labouring, cleaning and site preparation
n
- Moving and handling construction materials
n
- Unloading and assisting with site deliveries
n
- Assisting trades and site supervisors
n
- Using hand and power tools
n
- Demolition and strip out work
n
- Manual excavation and digging
n
- Maintaining a safe and tidy worksite
n

You will need: n
n

n
- A valid White Card
n
- Current drivers licence and reliable transport to get to work sites
n
- Minimum 6 months construction or onsite labouring experience
n
- Experience using basic hand and power tools
n
- Good physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual work
n
- A robust work ethic and reliable attitude
n
- Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
n
- A strong commitment to workplace safety
n
- Full PPE including steel cap boots, hi vis clothing, work pants/ shorts and hard hat and eye protection.
n

Advantageous but not essential: n
n

n
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) – regular work available on school and education projects
n
- Construction tickets such as Forklift, EWP, Working at Heights, Confined Space, Traffic Control or Spotter
n
- Previous commercial construction, Landscaping, Fitout or demolition experience
n
