Welder Required - ASAP Start n

Our client are a nationally-recognised provider of scaffolding, formworking and industrial access solutions.

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder/Fabricator to join the workshop team for welding duties for the repair and reinforcement of scaffolding and formworking materials.

What You'll Do: nn
- MIG Welding on steel screens/mesh and other associated scaffolding/formworking equipment.
n
- Majority welding of galvanised steel, approx. thickness of 3-10mm.
n
- Necessary preparation of galvanised steel prior to welding.
n
- Lay out, position and align squares and jig relevant to steel dimensions.
n
- Managing and minimising weld porosity.
n




- Assessing damaged steel and grinding out cracked welds
n
- Identifying and reinforcing weak points
n
- Maintaining of general workshop tidiness and organisation.
n

What We're Looking For nn
- Minimum 2-5 years demonstrated experience in MIG welding.
n
- Welding/Fabrication qualifications highly regarded, not required.
n
- Experience working in a similar workshop setting highly regarded.
n
- Ability to complete high volume of welds and maintain consistency across repetitive works.
n
- Ability to read and interpret drawings as required.
n
- Ongoing compliance with required PPE expectations.
n
