We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced ECC Veterinarian seeking a predominately clinical role with some managerial duties including overseeing and ensuring clinical excellence of the ECC department.

About the role:
n As an ECC Clinical Director at Baulkham Hills you will play an integral part of the growth of the hospital. This is a predominantly clinical role with some admin/management responsibilities , and your time will be spent:

n

n
- Working as an ECC Veterinarian across a mixture of shifts- days, evenings, overnights and weekends, with a roster defined in collaboration with the Business manager with your work-life-balance in mind.
n
- Establishing best practice processes for the department.
n
- Communicating the vision of the hospital and key department updates to your team to promote a positive work environment.
n
- Ensuring the department meets financial targets to sustain growth.
n
- Working with the business manager and other department heads to develop growth strategies.
n
- Supporting your team by providing feedback and conducting performance reviews to identify their areas of current success and areas for their future professional growth.
n
- Assisting with recruitment activities by building on your current team and identifying complimentary skills. Feel free to bring your friends-referral bonuses available!

- Becoming a first air officer with the appropriate training, as deemed by management.

Qualifications

n

Skills & experience required:

n

n
- You must hold a veterinary degree available for registration in New South Wales.
n
- Minimum of 5+ years working in a 24/7 Emergency and Speciality Care hospital .
n
- A demonstrated ability to successfully lead teams .
n




- Strategic thinking to refine and grow the service.
n
- Management training (formal or informal through CPD) would be advantageous.
n
- Commitment to being a team player, good communicator and contributing to a positive workplace environment.
n
- Dedication to delivering compassionate and high-quality veterinary care.
n
