HammondCare's Independent Living Units at Miranda, NSW is seeking a Transport Driver permanent part-time (3 days per week - Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) n

Provide driving services to our residents to take them to appointments, shopping and outings. This role would suit a compassionate, patient individual who enjoys providing excellent customer service with a friendly, positive attitude, and is confident driving on busy roads.

Essence of the Role n

- Providing Driving transport to our residents to attend various locations and events
n
- Fostering a spirit of harmony and friendship and maintaining a valuable relationship with our residents
n
- Assisting residents with transfers if required while following safe work practices
n
- Maintaining records of transport journeys and documenting trips
n
- Ensuring maintenance of vehicle
n

About You nn
- Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare's Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action.
n
- A current NSW Driver's Licence (Class C-Car licence) and safe driving record (LR licence desirable). Prepared to undertake the Driver Assessment Test if required
n
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Health and/or Aged Care Sectors, with experience in transporting frail, aged and / or vulnerable people desirable but not essential
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- High level of empathy, compassion, and patience
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
