Vitality Semaphore is a well-known, family-oriented chiropractic practice on Semaphore Road. We help people get out of pain and stay well — and we're growing. We're looking for someone to run the engine room so our doctors can focus on patient care.

The role n

This is the Integrator role. If you've read Traction by Gino Wickman, you know exactly what that means: the Visionary has the ideas, the Integrator makes them happen. You'll own the day-to-day operations of the practice and the team that delivers them.

Your two biggest priorities:

n

1. Own the new patient journey. Every new person who walks through our door is your responsibility from first phone call to established care. You'll track where each of them is in their care process, make sure nobody gets lost, and lift our retention as a result.

n

2. Make every doctor's process identical. Right now a patient's experience can vary depending on which doctor they see. You'll build and enforce one clear, consistent process across the whole practice — so the experience is the same, excellent, every time.

This is a hands-on role, not a desk job n

Be clear on this before you apply: you lead from the front desk, not from an office. Of your 30 hours a week, about 20 are spent working the floor alongside your team — greeting and checking patients in, running the day's flow, answering the phone, taking payments, booking care plans and keeping the doctors on time.



The other 10 are protected time for the leadership and systems work: training your team, building process, and tracking the numbers.

That's deliberate. You can't build a process you don't run yourself, and you can't lead a team that never sees you do the job. The person who thrives here is the one patients ask for by name — the one everyone notices is missing on their day off.

If you're looking to step back from patient contact into management, this isn't the role.

What you'll be responsible for n

Working the front desk — check-in, check-out, phones, scheduling, payments and patient paperwork — as a core part of every shift

n

Leading, training and rostering the CA team — and being the person they're loyal to

n

Building and maintaining the systems, scripts and workflows that keep the practice running

n

Tracking new patient conversion and retention numbers, reporting on them weekly, and running scorecards for the team

n

Care plans, payment plans and financial agreements — collections, EFT setup, account accuracy

n

Office flow: keeping the schedule, the doctors and the patients moving on time

n

Troubleshooting whatever the day throws at you, without needing to be asked

Have led a team before, or are clearly ready to

Are money-savvy and comfortable talking dollars with patients — no awkwardness around payment plans or overdue accounts

Love systems, checklists and workflows, and get satisfaction from closing loops

Want your work measured. You'll have your own scorecard and a small number of KPIs, and you'll hold your team to theirs — if that sounds inspiring rather than uncomfortable, you'll fit here

Can genuinely hold four things at once without dropping any of them, and enjoy a busy front desk rather than tolerating it

Are health conscious yourself, and believe in chiropractic as health care, not just pain relief

n

Are warm with people, but can say no, redirect and hold a boundary with a smile

What we offer n

$28 – $48 per hour depending on experience, plus incentives tied to a clear scorecard — no guessing what you're being paid for

n

Permanent part time, 30 hours per week — 20 on the floor, 10 protected for leadership and systems work. More hours available as the practice grows, if you want them.

Full training and ongoing development, including our practice systems program. You won't be thrown in the deep end.
