Senior Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Performance Consultant n

Are you an experienced Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations professional with a proven track record of diagnosing and resolving complex performance issues? We're seeking a highly skilled consultant to lead a critical performance optimisation engagement for a major Victorian organisation.

In this role, you'll investigate, analyse and remediate performance bottlenecks across Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&O;), delivering measurable improvements across forms, batch processing, integrations and system performance.

Working alongside Exco's functional consultants and the client's technology team, you'll take ownership of identifying root causes, recommending solutions and implementing performance enhancements that deliver real business outcomes.

Key responsibilities n

- Establish a performance baseline across key business processes, forms, batch jobs and integrations
n
- Investigate and diagnose performance issues using tools such as Trace Parser, Lifecycle Services (LCS), Query Store and Application Insights
n
- Analyse custom X++, SQL queries, data entities, integrations and batch processes to identify optimisation opportunities
n
- Develop and present findings, recommendations and remediation plans to both technical and business stakeholders
n
- Implement approved performance improvements, including code optimisation, indexing, query tuning, batch processing enhancements and integration redesign
n
- Manage testing,



deployment and performance validation activities
n
- Coordinate Microsoft support requests where required
n
- Deliver comprehensive documentation, performance metrics and ongoing monitoring recommendations
n

About you nn
- 7+ years' experience developing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (or AX 2012)
n
- Minimum 3 years working with cloud-based D365 F&O; environments
n
- Demonstrated success resolving production performance issues with measurable outcomes
n
- Advanced X++, SQL and C# development skills
n
- Strong experience reviewing execution plans, tuning queries and optimising database performance
n
- Hands-on expertise with Trace Parser, Lifecycle Services monitoring and Query Store
n
- Deep understanding of batch frameworks, Data Management Framework (DMF), data entities and integration approaches including OData and custom services
n
- Experience using Azure DevOps for source control, builds and deployments
n
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to business and IT stakeholders
