nExperienced Fresh Produce Manager n
nSalary Package - 45 hours (Sun-Thurs) n

We are seeking a highly motivated, hands‑on Fresh Produce Manager to lead the Produce department within our fast-paced retail environment.

n
nThe successful candidate will demonstrate the following key attributes: n
n

n
n
- 3+ Years of Produce Management Experience
n
n
- Extensive experience in produce handling, merchandising & display building.
n
n
- Keen eye for product quality.
n
n
- Experience in purchasing from multiple suppliers.
n
n
- Understanding of shrink minimisation principles
n
n
- Understand financial reporting, including budget vs. actual performance, gross profit and wage control.
n
n
- Understanding the importance of stock accuracy and stocktaking processes.
n
n
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
n
n
- Ability to recognise & resolve issues promptly.
n
n
- Computer Literate with experience using POS programs, rostering systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
n
n
- Ability to manage a team, including training, direction, & follow up.
n
n
- Excellent communication skills with team members and senior management.
n
n
- Provide helpful and efficient customer service while modelling appropriate behaviours
n
n
- Positive, hands‑on approach with the ability to lead by example
n
n
- Physically fit and enjoys hands‑on work
n
n
- Understanding of Food Safety and Work Health & Safety requirements
n
n
- Current Forklift Licence.
n
n
