Our client is a contemporary, technology-focused accounting and advisory firm that works with SMEs, HNW family groups and individuals.

The firm has built its service offering around providing clients with more than traditional compliance. This is a genuine client-facing and advisory-focused opportunity, working with a portfolio of clients across a range of industries and managing the full accounting and tax lifecycle.

Key responsibilities n

n
- Manage a portfolio of small business clients from start to finish
n
- Prepare financial statements, income tax returns, BAS and IAS for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
n
- Identify and raise advisory opportunities with clients
n
- Deal with various issues including business structuring and restructures,



Division 7A, trust distributions, CGT and small business concessions
n
- Assist with year-end tax planning
n
- Deal directly with business owners
n
- Review work and mentor junior and offshore team members
n
- Work closely with the Partners and broader client management team
n

Candidates nn
- Approx 3+ years’ experience in an Australian public practice environment
n
- Accounting or Commerce degree, with CA/CPA completed or progressing through
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Advanced skills with various accounting/practice management/workflow software
n
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
n
