Job Description n

The Payroll Officer will be responsible for:

n

n
- End-to-end processing of weekly and monthly payrolls
n
- Maintaining employee records including commencements, terminations and employment changes
n
- Processing complex payroll calculations including leave, overtime, superannuation and statutory obligations
n
- Managing PAYG, payroll tax, workers compensation and long service leave requirements
n
- Responding to payroll-related employee enquiries and providing exceptional customer service
n
- Supporting payroll system workflows and data integrity
n
- Assisting with payroll reporting, reconciliations and compliance activities
n
- Collaborating with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll accuracy and efficiency
n

The Successful Applicant n

The successful Payroll Officer should have:

n

n




- Previous experience in a high volume Payroll Officer position in a complex environment
n
- Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements
n
- Knowledge of termination calculations, superannuation, PAYG and payroll tax
n
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
n
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
n
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
n
- Available for a 12 month contract
n
