Komatsu is on the hunt for a Resident Field Service Technician to support customers across the Canberra region. You'll be the go-to expert keeping some of Australia's hardest-working machines up and running.

What You'll Be Doing n

n
- Diagnosing, servicing and repairing Komatsu equipment.
n
- Responding to breakdowns and carrying out planned maintenance.
n
- Using advanced diagnostics to solve mechanical and electrical faults.
n
- Building strong customer relationships through exceptional service.
n
- Completing service reports and documentation.
n
- Working safely while delivering quality workmanship every time.
n

Role Located n

Canberra, NSW

Shift n

Day shift, Monday to Friday with weekend O/T – 7:30am, to 4pm

Remuneration n

Rate + Super + Tool of trade + allowances

What we are looking for n

n
- Mobile Plant Mechanic Trade Certificate (Cert 3 Mobile Plant) complimented by your mechanical fitter qual (HD Mechanic/Fitter).
n
- OEM experience, preferably with Komatsu equipment, and field service exposure,



including breakdowns and diagnostics, will also be highly regarded within the construction and mining sector.
n
- A Valid driver’s Licence.
n
- Auto Electrical experience, qualifications, and diagnostic skills will be highly regarded.
n
- Working at heights qualification would be great but not crucial.
n
- Ability to follow required job scope & critical path.
n
- Safety focused mindset is paramount.
n
- Good understanding of computer systems and Microsoft Office
n
- Ability to work unsupervised.
n
