Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic n

We’re a brand-new, family-owned business based in Narangba, looking for a qualified diesel mechanic to join our workshop.

n

We specialise in heavy vehicle wheel alignments and mechanical repairs, working on trucks, buses and trailers, as well as 4WDs and light commercial vehicles.

n

As a new business, we’re looking to build a reliable team and create a flexible, family-friendly workplace where people are valued and family commitments are understood.

We’re offering full-time or part-time employment, with flexible working arrangements available for the right person.

About the work n

The role will involve a mix of:

n

Wheel alignments and investigating tyre wear and handling issues.

n

Steering and suspension inspections, fault finding and repairs.

n

Brake repairs and maintenance.

n

Truck and heavy vehicle servicing and general mechanical repairs.

n





Identifying worn components and recording work required and completed.

What we’re looking for n

A trade-qualified diesel or heavy vehicle mechanic.

n

Experience with truck servicing and repairs.

n

A sound understanding of steering, suspension and braking systems.

n

The ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs independently.

n

Accurate job cards and a safe approach to workshop work.

n

Previous heavy vehicle wheel alignment experience would be well regarded, but isn’t essential.

$55–$65 per hour , depending on experience.
