Mister Hoffman is a busy cafe with a big team and a loyal crowd of regulars, and we're looking for a manager to take the lead.

You'll be the person who makes the place tick. One minute you're behind the machine fixing a grind, the next you're sorting the roster, chatting with a regular or checking in a delivery. If you like a job where no two hours look the same, you'll fit right in.
What the job involves n
n
- Running the cafe day to day and keeping every shift on track
n
- Leading a large team: hiring, training, rostering and keeping people happy and motivated
n
- Looking after the coffee. You'll dial in, and set up the machine and grinder to our recipes so every cup tastes right
n
- Ordering stock, dealing with suppliers and keeping waste down
n
- Opening and closing, cash handling and banking
n
- Keeping food safety, hygiene and WHS up to scratch, and making sure the equipment and venue stay clean
n
- Getting to know the regulars, making newcomers feel welcome and sorting out any customer issues on the spot
n
What we're looking for n
We need someone who has done this before, so you'll need:
n
n
- 2+ years as a barista, with a good knowledge of beans, dialling in, and programming a machine and grinder to recipes
n
- 1+ years in management or equivalent, including leading a large team through training, rostering and day-to-day people stuff
n
- A warm, bubbly personality and a knack for building real relationships with customers
n
- A clean, skilled look and a habit of turning up on time
n
- A genuine love of hospitality
n
