- Candlelight concerts are a unique musical and sensory experience created by the beautiful ambience of candlelight.

- Our concerts highlight talent from upcoming artists to professional musicians and allow you to enjoy some of the most famous works of classical music in a completely current way and in various, spectacular locations.

- Candlelight is now expanding beyond classical music into other genres that fit well within the experience such as jazz, soul, flamenco, opera, and more!

About the Role n
n

We are looking for an Onsite Event Coordinator who loves to be hands-on, someone organised, structured, and capable of leading a team to ensure concerts run smoothly. The role is based in Brisbane and involves semi-regular travel throughout South East Queensland, including the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba.

Responsibilities will include:

Pre/Post Production n
n

n




- Review information provided for upcoming concerts, action and implement important production details, event reviews and policy procedures
n
n
- Overseeing inventory levels
n
n
- Occasionally assist with evaluating and executing walk-throughs of potential venues (additional hours given)
n
n
- Managing logistics of concerts in your City may include transportation of equipment to and from the venue. This may involve driving a hire van (1T)
n
n

Onsite

- Managing scheduled event timings as the main POC onsite
n
n
- Managing and training a small team of event staff during concerts
n
n
- Acting as the central POC between Fever, venue staff, the AV team, musicians, and event staff
n
n
- Implementing new or amended production details, company policies and procedures
n
n
- Dealing with customer queries and complaints
n
n
- Filling in Event / Incident Report forms
n
n
- Encouraging high performance and implementing improvements with in your team
n
n
- Providing photographs and feedback after each event to the Associate Producer
n
n
- Representing both the Fever and Candlelight brand fully through professional communication and management; acting as the main customer service representative at every event
n
n

Preferred Qualifications n
n

n
n
- Previous event coordination experience, preferably music-related
n
n
- Excellent face-to-face communication skills
n
n
- Highly organised and efficient. Time management skills are key.
n
n
- Leadership skills and experience managing small teams
n
n
- The ideal candidate will have demonstrated proficiency in public speaking.
n
n
- The role involves travel and a driver's license is essential.
n
n
- Willing to learn from mistakes and give feedback on ways of improving the Candlelight experience
n
n
- Collaborative approach and willing to get hands dirty and work on all required events tasks
n
n
- Fluent English speaker
n
n
- Strong academic and classical music background are a plus
n
