We are looking for someone who enjoys dealing with people, takes ownership and gets satisfaction from providing genuinely good customer service.

n

Based at our Coffs Harbour branch, you will work closely with our trade and retail customers, helping with enquiries, orders, product advice and day-to-day account needs.

n

The role combines customer service, counter sales, relationship management, stock support and occasional local deliveries.

n

Importantly, you do not need automotive experience .

n

We can teach you batteries, oils, filters and our systems. What we are looking for is the right attitude, initiative and ability to build strong customer relationships.

n

We currently have opportunities across both customer sales and delivery/customer service, so there may be flexibility to shape the position around the strengths of the right person.

What you'll do n

n
- Provide friendly, professional service to our trade and retail customers
n
- Build relationships with existing customers and help keep them coming back
n
- Handle telephone, email and counter enquiries
n
- Process orders and assist customers with product and parts lookups
n
- Learn our battery, oil, filter, wiper and workshop product ranges
n
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products and solutions
n
- Follow up customers, repeat orders and stock requirements
n
- Look for opportunities to grow customer accounts through great service and follow-through
n
- Assist with customer consignment stock, replenishment and auditing
n
- Help with stock receipting, checking incoming goods and maintaining stock accuracy
n
- Pick and prepare customer orders when required
n
- Test and fit batteries and assist with warranty enquiries
n




- Complete local deliveries and customer drop-offs when required
n
- Use Jiwa and other computer systems for orders, stock and customer information
n
- Work closely with the Coffs Harbour team to ensure customers receive reliable, prompt service
n

About you n

You do not need to know everything about cars.

n

You do need to enjoy dealing with people and take pride in doing a good job.

n

We are looking for someone who has:

n

n
- Experience in customer service, retail, trade sales or another customer-facing role
n
- A genuine customer-service mindset
n
- Confidence speaking with customers face-to-face and over the phone
n
- The ability to build trust and long-term relationships
n
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership
n
- Good communication and time-management skills
n
- Strong attention to detail
n
- The ability to work independently while being a positive part of the team
n
- A willingness to learn new products and systems
n
- Basic computer skills
n
- The ability to undertake physical work, including lifting batteries, oils and other products
n

n

Automotive, mechanical or trade-product experience is an advantage, but it is not essential .

n

We are more interested in your attitude, reliability, willingness to learn and how you treat customers.

Licences n

n
- Current Australian driver's licence required
n
- Forklift licence (LF) highly regarded
n
- Medium Rigid (MR) truck licence highly regarded,



particularly if you are interested in the delivery side of the role
n
- An MR licence is not required for our primary customer service and sales position
n
