Workfast is seeking an organised, detail-oriented Accountant to join a fast-growing Asian food distribution business based in Acacia Ridge.n
n

n
- $65,000 – $75,000 + Super
n
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday

- Permanent position

n

Working closely with management and the operations team, this full-time role will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, payroll support and general financial administration within a fast-paced FMCG distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoice processing and payments.
n
- Complete daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
n
- Monitor outstanding accounts, credit terms and customer payments.
n
- Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end accounting processes.
n
- Process customer receipts, supplier payments and account adjustments.
n
- Assist with payroll processing and superannuation requirements.
n
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure accounting data is entered correctly.
n
- Reconcile stock, invoices and supplier accounts, working closely with the warehouse team.
n
- Assist management with budgeting, reporting and financial analysis.
n
- Liaise with customers,



suppliers and internal teams regarding financial and account enquiries.
n

Requirements & Qualifications nn
- Previous experience working as an Accountant, Assistant Accountant or similar role .
n
- Relevant accounting qualification or equivalent experience is highly regarded.
n
- Strong knowledge of Xero, MYOB or similar accounting software .
n
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
n
- Strong understanding of AP, AR, reconciliations and general accounting principles.
n
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
n
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
n
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
n
- Experience within food distribution, wholesale or FMCG is highly regarded.
n
- Mandarin, Cantonese or Vietnamese language skills are advantageous.
n
- Full working rights in Australia.
n
