Your Role n

This is a full time, permanent live-on-island position , with rotating rosters depending on event needs.



You'll support the kitchen brigade in preparing and presenting quality food for a wide variety of events - from intimate beachfront weddings to large-scale corporate functions.

Where You’ll Make an Impact n

- Prepare and present food across various kitchen sections under the guidance of senior chefs
n
- Assist in high-volume food production for events, banquets, and special occasions
n
- Participate in event catering setups such as BBQs, street food stations, and off-site activations
n
- Uphold food safety, hygiene, and quality standards at all times
n
- Rotate through stations and learn new skills to grow in your culinary career
n
- Work with the team to maintain consistency and smooth service execution
n

What We’re Looking For n

You’re an enthusiastic and reliable cook with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn. You take pride in your work, love being part of a team, and are excited to contribute to world-class island events.

To Be Successful, You Will Need n

n
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (Essential)
n
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen environment
n
- Open manual Australian driver’s licence (Essential)
n
- Excellent communication and time management skills
n
- Valid Australian working rights (minimum 6 months)
n
- Willingness to work rotating rosters including mornings, evenings, weekends, and event-based shifts
n
- High standards of cleanliness, grooming, and personal presentation
n
