About The Role

n Our client is a well-established global asset management business, part of a large international group with decades of history and a robust reputation across institutional investment markets. Their Australian operation manages a diverse portfolio of investment entities on behalf of local and global investors, and continues to grow.n

n They're now looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to take ownership of reporting across a portfolio of entities. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role where you'll partner closely with senior leaders, treasury and auditors, and play a key part in lifting reporting quality and controls. It's offered as a contract with a strong likelihood of going permanent.n

Responsibilitiesn
n

n
- Lead month-end review and quarterly accounts across a portfolio of entities
n
- Drive the annual statutory reporting cycle in line with IFRS/GAAP
n
- Prepare Board and stakeholder reporting packs
n
- Manage cash forecasting and partner with treasury on debt facilities and covenant compliance
n
- Lead budgeting and reforecasting, adding commercial insight along the way
n




- Oversee Australian tax compliance, including BAS and income tax returns
n
- Coordinate with auditors and support investor reporting
n
- Streamline reporting processes and strengthen financial controls
n

Skillsn
n

n
- CA or CPA qualified
n
- Strong post-qualification financial accounting experience, ideally within a group or multinational environment
n
- Exposure to debt facilities and hedging
n
- Sound knowledge of Australian tax
n
- Advanced Excel and Power BI skills
n
- Full, unrestricted Australian work rights are required for this role
n
