Job Description

We are a long established and a highly respected manufacturer, distributor and installer servicing the Australian outdoor leisure market. Due to significant growth and strategic direction, we currently require the services of a highly motivated and experienced Full Time Warehouse Order Picker to join our friendly team at our Melbourne branch.

The Role n

Reporting to the Operations Manager this important role is required to support the increased demand for products being received and dispatched through our Melbourne warehouse.

Responsibilities n

n
- Picking and packing of products and preparing these for despatch.
n
- Loading and unloading of containers.
n
- Quality control and checking goods received.
n
- Operating all mechanical equipment including Forklifts in a safe manner.
n
- Use of hand tools as required.
n
- Heavy lifting of products.
n
- Packaging and labeling of stock.
n
- Participate in stocktakes and weekly cycle counts.
n
- Prepare delivery run sheets and complete consignment notes.
n
- General housekeeping duties as required.
n




- Deliveries to customers as and when required.
n

The Person nn
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
- Highly organised and possess great time management skills.
n
- Be motivated and with solid attention to detail.
n
- Experience checking delivery sheets and goods inward, including uploading containers.
n
- Effective, timely and accurate distribution of goods in and out of our warehouse, including loading of trucks.
n
- A strong commitment to WH&S; policies and procedures.
n
- A willingness to learn and a positive "can do" attitude.
n
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.Current Forklift and drivers' licence is required
n
- Computer skills or the ability to learn.
n
- Must be a team player.
