We are currently seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to join our team at Isaac Downs Mine, near Moranbah, Queensland, working on a range of large-scale mining equipment.

We are currently seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to join our team at Isaac Downs Mine, near Moranbah, Queensland, working on a range of large-scale mining equipment.

About the Role n

As a Diesel Fitter with EPSA, you will be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance, diagnostics, fault finding and repairs on heavy mining equipment while maintaining a solid focus on safety and reliability.

Key responsibilities include:

n

- n

Carrying out preventative maintenance, repairs and servicing on heavy mining equipment.

n
- n

Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults and equipment issues.

n
- n

Working on Caterpillar, Liebherr & Komatsu machineryand other heavy mobile mining equipment.

n
- n

Completing required safety documentation, including job inspections, JSAs and SLAMs.

n
- n

Identifying and communicating safety,



mechanical and maintenance issues.

n
- n

Completing all work to a high standard and within required timeframes.

n
- n

Working effectively as part of a team while also being able to work independently.

n
- n

Maintaining a strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.

n

About You n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- n

Certificate III in Diesel Fitting Technology (Engineering) or equivalent recognised Australian trade qualification.

n
- n

Previous experience working in the mining industry, preferably within a heavy mobile equipment maintenance environment.

n
- n

Experience working with Caterpillar, Komatsu & Leibherr machineryor similar large-scale mining equipment.

n
- n

Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance skills.

n
- n

A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

n
- n

The ability to work effectively under pressure and within set timeframes.

n
- n

A proactive approach with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

n
- n

Current Australian Open Driver Licence.

n
- n

Current S11.

n
- n

QLD Coal Mine Workers' Health Scheme Assessment, or willingness to obtain.

n
- n

High Risk Work Licences such as EWP, Forklift, Overhead Gantry Crane, Non-Slew Crane, Vehicle Loading Crane,



Dogging and/or Rigging will be highly regarded.

Current nationally recognised certification in:

- n

Enter and Work in Confined Spaces

n
- n

Gas Test Atmospheres

n
- n

Work Safely at Heights

n

n
- n

Current First Aid Certificate.

n
- n

Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical and random drug and alcohol screening.
