Job Description

Key responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to n

n
- Maintain a range of Gas fired Caterpillar and Deutz engine generators.
n
- Maintain a range of Diesel Caterpillar, Deutz and Cummins engine generators.
n
- Maintain and operate Pronto Maintenance Management System.
n
- Ensure compliance with H & S, Work Cover, Office of Energy Safety and all legislation and regulations are abided by.
n
- Be responsible and show urgency towards Customer needs in this essential service industry.
n
- Show initiative and a willingness to undertake ongoing training both internal and external to the Company.
n
- Well field maintenance and gas monitoring.
n
- Attend to call outs when rostered on.
n
- Ensure good site housekeeping.
n

Qualifications and experience nn
- Mechanical trade certificate preferred
n




- Experience in Engine Management and Electrical/Mechanical Systems.
n
- Experience in the Operation and Maintenance of a modern Power Station preferred
n
- Experience with Engine Management Control systems an advantage
n
- 5 years Industrial safety experience
n
- Knowledge of Pronto Maintenance Management System an advantage
n
- Valid Driver’s License
n
- Experience with Landfill Gas Power Stations will be highly regarded
n
- Previous experience with head changes and valve sets not only on Catterpillar Engines, but any engines will be highly regarded
n
