Camp Manyung is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly catering team. Whether you already have kitchen experience or are looking to build your skills, this is a great opportunity to work in a supportive environment where your contribution genuinely matters.

You’ll help prepare nutritious, tasty meals for our campers and make mealtimes a welcoming and enjoyable part of their camp experience.

What you'll be doing n

n
- Preparing and serving meals for campers and groups
n
- Assisting with food preparation and ingredients
n
- Helping cater for allergies and special dietary requirements
n
- Maintaining a clean, organised and food-safe kitchen
n
- Working alongside a supportive catering team
n
- Helping create a positive experience for everyone who visits Camp Manyung
n

About you n

You don't need to be a chef to be great in this role.

n

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Reliable, proactive and willing to get stuck in
n
- Comfortable working independently when required
n
- A positive team player
n
- Committed to food safety and creating a welcoming environment
n
- Keen to learn and develop their kitchen skills

n

Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is highly regarded but not essential . Attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are just as important to us.





Shifts n

We offer a variety of casual shifts, with some availability required across:

n

n
- Monday to Sunday: 7:00am to 11:00am or 2:00pm
n
- Monday to Saturday: 4:15pm to 7:15pm
n

n

No late-night finishes. You could be home by 7:30pm.
