Chiosco by Ormeggio, situated at d'Albora Marina in Mosman, is a thriving Italian trattoria known for its classic cuisine and relaxed, BYO-friendly atmosphere. Proudly run by the highly esteemed Two-Hatted Ormeggio team, we are currently seeking a talented Chef de Partie eager to grow and advance their career in a rapid-paced, supportive kitchen environment.

Our venue operates seven days a week and offers à la carte service, group events, takeaway options from our kiosk, and boat catering packages. As a Chef de Partie at Chiosco, you can expect a variety of working hours, including weekends.

What We're Looking For:
n

- Full Australian working rights
n
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
n
- Formal cooking qualification
n
- Strong verbal communication skills in English
n
- Experience with Italian cuisine essential
n
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and thrive in a team
n
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and contribute
n
- Excellent attention to detail
n
- A passion for food and delivering outstanding customer experiences
n
- Completion of NSW Food Handlers course
n
n
Highly Regarded Skills & Qualifications:
n
n
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
n
- Experience on the hot/grill section
n
- Expertise in pasta fresca
n
- Experience with Italian seafood preparation
n
n

- Support with menu planning, recipe development, training, and implementation

- Maintain cost control and kitchen efficiency within budget
