Job Description

We are seeking a trade qualified Welder/Fabricatorwith a desire to run their own race. You will be working in our Rocklea based manufacturing facility, predominantly on our Dirty Possum Mountain bike racks and componentry . You will be responsible for the whole process.

You will have input in design, cut, drill, mill and assemble the products ready for sale.

n

You will also have the opportunity to work with CNC machinery if the desire and skill is shown.

n

Experience/Skills: n

Minimum 2+ years post trade workshop experience in a welding fabricator role

n

Experience in light fabrication

n





Good solid fabrication & welding experience in a workshop workplace

n

Mark off/out structural fabrications & shapes

n

Assemble fabricated components

n

Interpret technical drawing (assembly & sub-assembly process)

n

A strong commitment to safety

Mandatory Skills & Knowledge: n

Formal trade qualification - Boilermaker or Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication Trade)

n

Relevant welding & industry standards

n

Reading and interpreting plans and specifications

n

Fabrication techniques and processes

n

Interpret work orders and production schedules to determine product or job instructions/specifications
