Axial Training is looking for a passionate Sport Trainer & Assessor to deliver our Diploma of Sport to senior secondary students across Queensland.

n

This is an opportunity to take your industry experience into schools and help young people turn their passion for sport into real skills, qualifications and future career opportunities.

You don’t need to be a career teacher. We’re looking for someone who understands the sporting industry, enjoys working with young people and can bring learning to life through real-world experience.

New to training? We can support you.
n If you have the right industry experience but don't yet hold your TAE, we can support you to obtain your Certificate IV in Training & Assessment .

What You'll Be Doing n

As a Sport Trainer & Assessor,



you'll deliver the Diploma of Sport to senior secondary students, bringing your sporting and industry experience into the school environment.

n

You’ll:

n

- Deliver engaging, practical and interactive sport training
n
- Share your real-world sporting and industry experience
n
- Mentor and motivate students to achieve their goals
n
- Help students develop leadership, communication and professional skills
n
- Support students to explore future careers within the sporting industry
n
- Build positive relationships with students and partner schools
n
- Support assessment and student progression
n
- Contribute to engaging learning activities and continuous improvement
n

What We're Looking For n

We're looking for someone who can bring sport to life and connect with the next generation.

n

You’ll ideally have:

n

n
- A relevant Sport qualification and/or strong industry experience
n
- Experience in sport, coaching, fitness, sport development, administration or management
n
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122/TAE40116) or a willingness to obtain
n
- Strong communication, presentation and mentoring skills
n
- The ability to engage and connect with senior secondary students
n
- A positive, energetic and professional approach
n
- A Working with Children Check or the ability to obtain one
n
