Bartender – High Volume, Live Music & Theatre

Friday, 11pm. Three shows are on. The room is full. Three deep at the bar and every order is four drinks. You don't panic. You love it.

That's the job.

Spiegel Haus is one of Melbourne's biggest nights out. A 100-year-old Spiegeltent for cabaret and theatre. A multi-level rooftop with multiple bars. A live music and DJ space for 1,200. Over 2,000 guests on a big night.

Season two is here. We need bartenders who can handle it.

What you’ll do

Pour fast and pour right.

Smash the pre-show and interval rush.

Keep the bar stocked and moving.

Look after guests, even when it's busy.

Back up your team.

What you’ll bring

2+ years in high volume bars.

Speed, with no shortcuts.

Solid basics: beer, wine, spirits, classic cocktails.

Current Victorian RSA.

Nights, weekends and late finishes.

Good energy and a thick skin.

The deal
Casual roles. Busy rosters. A outstanding crew.

Some of the best shows in Melbourne, every week.

There is nowhere else quite like this venue.

Spiegel Haus brings together theatre, music, hospitality and culture under one roof. There is nowhere else quite like it.

This isn't a venue that hosts one event at a time. It's a venue where multiple experiences operate simultaneously, each demanding the same standard of execution, leadership and guest experience.

If you're an operational leader who thrives on complexity, enjoys building exceptional teams and delivering unforgettable guest experiences, we'd love to hear from you.

Your application will include the following questions:

- Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
- How much notice are you required to give your current employer?
