Position: General Accounting Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $50–$70/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

n

n
- Develop long-horizon accounting tasks that mirror real-world scenarios with deterministic rubrics.
n
- Create transactional accounting scenarios such as journal entries and AP/AR with defined cash application rules.
n
- Design close processes including reconciliations, accruals, and intercompany eliminations.
n
- Construct supporting analyses with flux explanations against ground-truth variances.
n
- Work independently and asynchronously to ensure tasks have checkable answers and meet deadlines.
n

Qualifications

n

Must-Have

n

n
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
n
- 3+ years as a staff or senior accountant.
n




- Expertise in reconciliations, accruals, intercompany, fixed assets, AP/AR on major ERPs like NetSuite , SAP , Oracle , QuickBooks , Xero , Intacct .
n
- Ability to read and produce accounting artifacts like JE packages, reconciliations, and trial balances.
n
- Clear written communication skills for encoding reasoning into deterministic rubrics.
n
