Location: Epping, VIC
Pay Rate: $37.00 per hour
Hours: 7:00am - 3:57pm Monday to Friday
Roster: 9-day fortnight with an RDO every second Friday

We are currently seeking an experienced Material Handler to join a busy manufacturing environment in Epping.

n

Our client is a well-established Australian manufacturer specialising in the design and production of premium caravans and recreational vehicles.

n

This is a hands-on role, with approximately 20-30% of the day spent operating forklifts, while the remainder of the role will involve picking, general labouring and supporting the production team.

About the Role n

Your duties will include:

n

n
- Operating high reach and counterbalance forklifts for approximately 20-30% of the working day
n
- Picking materials and components for production
n
- Inwards goods and receiving stock
n
- Preparing materials and components for production
n
- General warehouse labouring
n
- Moving and organising stock throughout the warehouse and production areas
n
- Supplying materials to production as required
n
- Loading and unloading deliveries
n




- Assisting with general production and warehouse duties
n
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
n

About You n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Proven counterbalance forklift experience
n
- Previous picking and warehouse experience
n
- Experience in inwards goods
n
- Previous manufacturing, production or labouring experience highly regarded
n
- Comfortable performing manual and physical work throughout the day
n
- Good attention to detail and accuracy when picking
n
- Strong safety awareness
n
- Reliable transport and a strong work ethic
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
